Custom Planter Box Perth

A collection of custom GRC planter boxes were recently supplied for a high-end residential project in Perth, Australia.

The project required more than 300 planters, including long rectangular troughs and several custom-shaped units designed to suit the architectural layout of the residence. Each planter needed to provide reliable drainage, reduced weight, long-term durability, and a refined finish that would elevate the overall outdoor living environment.

Originally, the client had sourced planters from a local Australian supplier. However, the quality did not meet the project’s expectations, particularly for a premium residential development where visual consistency, durability, and installation reliability were essential.

Our team worked closely with the client from project drawings through to final production. Over a two-month period, we supported the full process, including design coordination, custom mould development, colour adjustment, accessory sourcing, production, quality control, and export packaging.

Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete was selected as a practical alternative to traditional concrete because it offers the solid architectural appearance of concrete with significantly reduced weight. This made the planters easier to handle on site while still delivering the strength and weather resistance required for outdoor residential use.

The finished planters helped define garden edges, soften architectural surfaces, and create a more refined landscape atmosphere throughout the residence. With consistent colour, custom sizing, and integrated drainage details, the planter system became more than a functional landscape element — it became part of the home’s premium architectural identity.
